Privacy

What happens to your data. Short, because little happens.

No account, no profile
You do not register and you do not give an email address. There is no user database, so there is nothing to leak.
Your personal data stays in your browser
Your name, address, phone number and any BSN are stored in your browser’s session storage and disappear when you close the tab. They reach the server once: at the moment you click download and the PDF is assembled. After that they are not stored, not logged and not forwarded.
The PDF is not stored
The objection letter is built in the server’s memory and sent straight to you. No file is written and there is no download link that still works later.
The AI draft: only on request, and without personal data
The “Let AI write the reasoning” button is optional and only runs when you press it. What we send to Google Vertex AI is arithmetic: the assessed value, the floor area, the price per m², the median of the comparison, and any note you typed yourself against a ground. Your name, address, postcode, email, telephone number, BSN and assessment number are not sent: the request has no field for them, and a test enforces that. Your neighbours’ addresses are not sent either; in the text they are “reference property 1, 2 and 3”. Processing takes place in the EU (Google Cloud, europe-west3, Frankfurt). If you never press the button, nothing goes to an AI service at all.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no ad network and no third party in a position to follow you. What we do use is storage in your own browser: what you type sits in session storage and disappears when you close the tab, and whether you dismissed the language notice is remembered in local storage. Both stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Where the site runs
The site runs on Google Cloud Run in europe-west4 (the Netherlands). The open data comes from PDOK (the national address and buildings register) and the national WOZ register. To look your home up we send your postcode and house number to those registers; that is public data and we do not keep the result.
Your rights
The GDPR gives you the right to see, correct and delete your personal data. Here that is a short conversation: we hold nothing about you, so there is nothing to see, correct or delete. To clear what you have typed, close the tab. If you have a question, get in touch.
No trackers, no advertising
No analytics scripts, no ad networks, and no fonts or scripts from third parties. The site loads everything from its own server, which you can verify in your browser’s network tab.
What we do log
The server keeps technical logs to find faults: timestamp, status code and error messages. Addresses, names and BSNs are not in them.
Which external sources are consulted
To build your analysis our server queries the PDOK location server and the WOZ register. That happens from the server, not from your browser, so your IP address never reaches those services.
